An Evangelistic Ministry of Sonoma County
STREETLIGHT is cooridinated by Zechariah Manning and Patrick Gaines for the sole purpose to evangelize the lost in our community and surrounding areas.
Today, witchcraft, occultism and evil make the Gospel as vital as a gun is in a war. Satan is on the run as Jesus sets the capatives free. Cool and casual Christianity will do nothing. Our community and surrounding areas urgently need the flaming message of the Cross now, and not at the leisure of the Church.
God says in Habakkuk 2:14, "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. As the waters cover the sea." How do the waters cover the sea? So throughly that there is not a single dry spot on the bottom of the sea! This clearly illustrates God's plan. The knowledge of His glory, power and salvation will be spread across the world like a flash flood. There will not be a single dry spot, no ignorant country, city, town, family or individual. Isaiah 6:3 says, "And one cried to another and said: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His Glory!"
The Church (Body of Christ) can no longer be a pleasure boat. It must become a lifeboat. From the captain of the ship to the individual that swabs the decks, all hands are needed on deck for soul saving.
The Church that does not seek the lost, is "lost" itself. We at LightHouse World Evangelism agree with the prophets of old, and voice the urgency that Jesus Christ spoke with when He said in Mark 16:15, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."
God used four evangelists; Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John; To write down the story of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This pattern we as a ministry believe is linked to the four men in the Old Testament who carried the Ark of the Covenant. Carriers of the Gospel change from generation to generation, but the Gospel remains the same.
Today in the 21st Century, it is our turn to carry the Gospel. God has called us as a ministry to carry the Gospel to our city and surrounding areas and then to the ends of the earth. This is the Great Commission of the Lord to us, and requires us to do it with haste.
